Ball Making - Green Economy

Mukuru Talent Share incorporated a non profit company that manufactures eco-friendly balls made of leather and recycled linen. We empower youth, girls, women, and people with disabilities (PWDs) in under served communities by providing employment, ethical skills and economic opportunities.

We promote financial independence, especially for marginalized groups, fostering self-reliance. Participants gain transferable skills, boosting their career prospects and confidence. The enterprise creates inclusive work environments, reducing stigma against women and PWDs. Additionally, profits often support community programs i.e tree planting, education, or local sports initiatives, generating positive social impact.

By engaging in this venture, individuals strengthen their sense of purpose, contribute to community development, and improve their long-term well-being in a healthy environment.

The need and opportunity to manufacture balls is to meet the demand of balls since most balls played in Sub-Saharan Africa are either imported or donated from other continents and are not lasting in natural play grounds. We manufacture, sell and donate bio-degradable leather balls that last longer than synthetic and polyurethane balls .
